The High Commissioner of Ghana to Sierra Leone, H.E. Senalor K. Yawlui led Ghana's delegation to the Accelerated Partnership for Renewables in Africa (APRA) Forum which was held in Freetown, Sierra Leone from 22nd to 23rd October, 2025. The delegation included officials of the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition and staff of the mission. The APRA Investment Forum served as a platform to advance practical solutions and showcase real-world case studies which, focused on both the energy transition and the creation of economic opportunities through industries centred around renewables. On behalf of the Minister of Energy and Green Transition of the Republic of Ghana, Hon. John Jinapor, the High Commissioner among others, underscored that Africa's renewables energy transition must be driven through Public- Private Partnership (PPP), effective regulatory framework, and Investment-friendly policies that attract credible foreign investors.
